Definitely a case of the live performance being much, much lesser than the studio. I swear she forgets the words a couple of times.

.....and what about the drummer; nearly drops it in the quiet section and then comes to a screeching halt.........

Great song, great voice, great lady, and a really bad band performance. Please play the original – or anything from the stellar original CD.

Completely agree.  I thought I would prefer this to the over-produced original, but the background vocals, especially, have truned me right off.  I have always loved  k.d... yes... even in her cow-punk years, where I got to see her play live while I cocktailed, but this song never really suited her, as great as her vocals are in it.

Sounds like our local drunken Social Club.  I don't this is good enough for release.

I doubt very much it's a craving for male company. Or maybe it is, and she's just trying to stifle it.

I am always hungry, always.  I can never eat enough.  The only way to keep from getting fat, is eating less food.   Gobble gobble gobble gobble.

Get rid of the crowd noise, the shrieking background vocals and go into the studio.  Oh, that's been done.

I love kd lang but I have to say this version isn't very good and frankly I'm shocked that she would release something this marginal to the general public.
