The Ben Folds Five selections on RP are a travesty.  I saw on the boards that Selfless Cold and Composed was shot down in LRC, but there are so many better songs than Brick and the other two available.  Maybe the new album coming out in September will yield something RP-worthy.

This guy's name reminds me of an ancient joke that'll only make sense to UK listeners over 40. The punchline is "Sven Fold stamps on seven galleons or more"... :o)

Does anybody else think about this song early AM on 12/26?  Can't help it....curse you Ben Folds Five!

I fricken LOVE this song...

A close friend of mine is a huge Ben Folds fan, but always hated this song.  Then, if there are right reasons to have an abortion, she had one for those reasons.  Now she hates this song even more, except instead of just not liking it, it makes her cry. 

It's funny how even the right thing can feel like the wrong thing, even 6 years later.

Let's face it, this song makes you feel. Wasn't that the aim of Ben's music? Hey, BFF never promised you a rose garden. Where there's sun, there's got to be some rain sometime. Feel it. The words don't particularly have meaning to me, but the mood does. I am very thankful for this song and for Ben providing an emotional experience that I would not have had. This song brings meaning to me although I do not understand. So melancholy, so perfect. I feel human again.

By far, one of the worst album covers of all time.
