It is funny, interesting, amazing, to hear all these stories about how we go through difficult times with some music... I guess that is one of the magic things about music. I do have also music that, at some stage, help me through difficult times, and it is different for different ocassions. ... there is some kind of music for everybody that really connects with the soul and, somehow, makes you feel better (or at least not so bad),.. is it the same for everybody?

PG is in the top 5 of greatest artists in my book. Outstanding person too, with WOMAD and such

Beautifully plodding.

Passionately droning.

Zealously monotone.

I understand Pete, but I think you need to set this one free. Please make it end.

My wife turned me on to this gem. It helped her through her parents divorce when she was 15. What an album!

Thank you Peter. Your music will always be in my heart.

Didn't "Passion" come after this one?  It is rather outstanding and hugely influential.

Musically he really does write some good stuff, he really ought to go ahead and hire someone to sing his songs for him though, it is not like he can't afford it now.

Peter Gabriel is one of my all time favorites, but this song (and the album) is way below his normal standards - 7

I hope he means that he sends love out into the world so love will come back to him and not that he enjoys being loved.

Back during the times of Rhythm of the Heat, San Jacinto, PG would write cool songs in the first person, yeah, but they were really about other people. This? It's a rehash of a therapy session.

I like his earlier work too, but sometimes we need a little therapy.
