A wonderful, quirky band with roots in Thelonious Monster(now that's a name for a rock group!)and the Pogues, if I'm not mistaken. This song's quite likeable, but other better ones from this album are Miss Her Anyway and A Nail Won't Fix A Broken Heart. Would love to hear them on RP sometime.

Dire Straits, Springsteen? No offense but this sounds nothing like either group, at least it doesn't if you are referring to the vocals. And musically it does sound a bit like "The Boss" but certainly not like Mark Knopfler and the Straits.
