This original is a 7, but don't forget the fantastic cover version from Brian Ferry's Roxy Music - this would be a ten!

Spot on! |

This song is 42 years old? Unreal. Timeless beauty.

Don't get me wrong, Paul and George were great, but this song is further proof that John was a superior song writer....

I am not a big Beatles / Lennon music fan (although I fully acknowledge their cultural and social impact!), but this song is just simply awesome. Sometimes I miss your presence, John!

UUUUUUUUUUUUNBELIEVABLE!
Surely you can find something better to get upset about than some people not sharing your taste in music? |

We had the election on one channel and the moon landing on the other. My wife was worried about the Iranian hostage crisis , but I assured her Kennedy would fix it. Just then someone put Jealous Guy on my new CD player. Yep, I remember it well. Maybe a fact or two got by me, but I remember it well.

Romeo, I don't know if you removed the album back from this page or Bill beat you to it. Just glad it's gone. Nothing my 14 year old daughter needs to see while she's looking over my shoulder asking if this is John Lennon.
Get out of the hotel more often, okay?

No , no , your confused. Reagan was president after Carter in 1968. I started playing CD's on my turntable around the 60's. Neil was buzzed in 69, but he landed on the moon in the 40's ( a little secret the government has been keeping from you)
Concerning the smoking question, I've had a ham in my smoker for a while , but it's a bitch to keep lite.
hollirg1 wrote: Just curious what you might be smoking? Kennedy died in 1963. CD players came out in the 80's and the Iranian hostage crisis ended in 1981 when Ronald Reagan took over the presidential reigns from Jimmy Carter. Neil and Buzz landed in 1969.
