As much as I love her later records, especially disc two of Aerial, it might be because I attribute so much to her that might not be there...

I saw clips of her live show, and they were sophomoric and embarrassing. Much like Prince, I think "stick to the music and leave the multimedia alone. And don't talk, either, while you're at it."

Kate Bush and diddly-eye-dum music. Hmm. I'm not sure if it works or not, but as a fan of herself I'll give it a few more listens. Her voice is especially low and strong in this number compared to much of her earlier stuff. For some reason, this song makes me think of the cult film The Wicker Man.

I just love Kate Bush's music.  I've never heard a bad song from her.  Some of them are difficult (as is, I need to listen to them a few times in order to absorb everything) but to my ears, never bad. {#Sunny}

I love Kate Bush, but this is a mediocre song by her standards, from an otherwise great album. A solid 7, though.

Kate Bush at her worst is much better than many at their best.  This is not her best, but a solid 8 nevertheless.

  Excelsior, do you talk as much bollocks as you write? You really should refrain from posting here, you only show yourself up.

I hear you, it is a sin that she didn't put out more albums, but she gave up the music scene to spend more time with her family and I can forgive her for that. {#Wink}

Kate never was very prolific, this album (Hounds of love) took her about 5 years to make. She took 12 years off to be a mother and then released the astounding 'Ariel' in 2005. We are all hoping the next one won't take so long but, hey, you can't hurry genius, and it seems that the longer she takes the better the album.

Whilst this an excellent track you really do have to listen to it in the context of 'The Ninth Wave' (originally side two of the vinyl) to fully appreciate it.
