I will also go against all the haters out there and say that this song is a perfect 10. Awesome Blur track about Damon Albarn's breakup with Elastica frontwoman Justine Frishmann. Glorious arrangement and heartfelt lyrics that really drive home the heartache and longing. Just a phenomenal song.

Why is it that as soon as turn on this station in an effort to show someone the great songs they play this crud is on (and on, and on, and on). They left, and I can't blame them!

Reminds me of drunken choruses I have heard sung in bars, at football games. At least those were entertaining. This is execrable.

Did you ever hear BillG trying to quote your comment on this song? --- it was hilarious --> couldn't say "All the girls at the seafood factory ..." without cracking up!

The image which comes to mind, listening to this song is a rowboat floating down the stream on a big river in some tropical land. The rowers are rowing on the tempo, set by the beat, played on a tom tom.

Same repetition as "Louis, Louis", less than half the fun!

Really, this is terrible stuff. Brainless and boring and it goes on WAY longer than it needs to.

This is a very strange song...something in me likes it, but at the same time I want to crush my speakers under a heavy object.

Sounds like a 5 to me.

What a beautiful image--didn't really like the song until I read this and saw the picture - an opening for a great indie film perhaps. What is music but the background that makes our lives like art....

Although I find txcharlie66's comment endlessly amusing, I don't dislike this song. If it were half the length I'd probably even like it. At this point though I'm wondering if the mp3 is skipping... if that's even possible... :???:
