Only with those colorful little "mother's little helpers" you can really understand

what trance (and trance-music) is all about!

Trust me!!!

Into Morocco...?

From Spain? Algeria? Rio de Oro? Mauritania?

Or by plane?

At 6.50 this would also be a great DJ break song... just sayin.... No-! No "Inagaddadavida"

I don't think this is North African influenced music, at least not pas the intro.
I just hear synthesisers and didgeridoos, and the singing switches between dance-rave and American-Indian.

North African "inspired"  may be, but I think it lacks inspiration overall.
I usually like mixing musical styles, but this is just a "meh" from me.

I really like this and all....but had to drop a notch in my rating.  Not quite up to the standards of that higher number.  IMHO-FWIW

Oh DAMN!  "Inagaddadavida"—now that is a true lost gem!  When was the last time anybody heard that on the radio?

Do you ever play it, Bill?

My posting of a camel is in no way an endorsement of this awful song.

Why are so many people hating on this song? I mean, it's not the greatest song or anything, but it's at the very least relaxing and easy on the ears, no?

There are 5000 miles between Morocco and Egypt,
why this cover-design vs. album title?

Sounds like a music-school project!

Why is this so nice...Not sure... I usually shun robot music... I guess buying Soha, Mitch Gerber , and Hindi Zahra this past week has opened my ears...

this kind of world music is usually about as classy as you would expect from looking at its album art.

There was a CDROM game titled "Silent Thunder- A-10 Tank Killer II" published by Sierra Games. The sound track sounded so close to this it may be the same group or musicians.  Lots of trance light stuff to accompany the usual 30mm depleted uranium chain gun rounds heading down range to destroy the usual enemies.

Formulaic trance in the vein of Delerium, Enigma, Deep Forest, etc. To be honest, I can't tell these acts apart, all their "songs" sound the same. Not my style at all. Ho-hum at best.

Funny you should mention them. According to this web site, Chorus of Tribes is Enigma and Deep Forest having joined forces. Guess I've heard of stranger things...

Showing my age a little bit here, but this reminds me of the music to the first stage of Earthworm Jim for the Super Nintendo (and that's a good thing)  {#Smile}
