Good ears.. that is indeed where they are from.

Glad I wasn't the only one. I thought maybe I was hearing things. This whole track is rather derivative... the sampling is forgivable, but this track borrows heavily from their own earlier work.

This is "The Eyes of Truth". Enigma sampled Positive Life's "The Calling" for a different song, "Out From the Deep":

Hello,

The drumming/bass sounds a little like PG's "Kiss that Frog" (speeded up some)...ho hum. Back to the LRC for me.

Interesting that "Achtung Baby" came out in 1991, yet this album came out in 1994. i think Enigma sampled U2, not the other way around.

Never said you said "Hate this stuff". Just suggested that that as an alternative to tone deafness. Perhaps sensing some irony here??? My comment was based on the simple fact that most bands/groups/artists naturally have a "sound". I always know when Pink Floyd when I hear it, but that doesn't mean I'm going to knock them for sounding the same.

I think s/he meant all of Enigma's songs sound the same - not that Enigma sounds like Coldplay.

Although I like Enigma, I have grown rather tired of them and have removed them from my rotation. They're sound imo, is a little dated/tired.
