well, my 15 year old daughter likes it. I'm 44 and looking for new sounds but the old stuff is okay

Always liked this album and this song was a great opener.  Yes, Paul Rogers' voice was just right.

If you really like Paul Rogers' voice, you owe it to yourself to dig into the material of Free. An incredibly underappreciated band in the Americas, but at one time in England were more popular than the Stones. There is a great discography and song portfolio that goes well past "All Right Now". Check it out, you won't be disappointed by the rock/blues subtlety and marvelous guitar playing of Paul Kossoff.

1976 - Summer in Norway, my cousin and I had this cassette (remember those?) and Led Zepplin IV and BBC and that was it.

Given all the other rock classics in the RP rotation, why should Bill overlook this one?  It has certainly stood the test of time as well as any of the Hendrix, Beatles, Floyd, Stones, Who and Zeppelin tunes that pop-up here occasionally.  I say keep mixing it up — old, new, borrowed and blue — it's what keeps me coming back to RP day after day.

Rock on!  {#Bananajam}

Both the Bad Company and Talk Talk example are the extremely rare trifecta of band name/album title/song title combo.. an example of an exacta would be "They Might Be Giants' by They Might Be Giants,

Another rarity:

Wilco (the band) - Wilco (the album) - Wilco (the song) !

Sometimes I think Bill plays this stuff just to stoke the forums.  I love the reactions!{#Clap}

I'm with you, martinc. And anyone willing to step in for Freddy Mercury gets my vote anyway. You go Paul!

Sure, its a classic. But I expect RP to rise above selections better suited for beer commercial soundtracks. Poor choice.

I agree, we should expect to hear anything on RP. But, still, I think I could have gotten pretty damn good odds that one would never hear Bad Company here. What's next, Bachman Turner Overdrive? Hey, how about some Foghat? Yeah, some Foghat be right nice right now. Dude, where's my lighter? Nice mullett, by the way.

By definition, an "eclectic" radio station shouldn't be afraid to play music from different venues, even mainstream. Just because it's popular doesn't make it bad. Hopefully, this station will give a try to Paul Rodgers' NOW and ELECTRIC albums.

This is the ultimate classic rock song, which raises the question: Why is it being played here??? What's next, Stairway to Freebird?

So it can only be obscure classic rock to be played on RP? It can't be just good classic rock? This may not be my favorite Bad Company song, but I like it :)

One of the greatest and underated vocalists ever;
check his work with Tim Donahue for something new!
Appreciate it hearing here in Nippon.

Generic classic rock. Not bad, but why play on RP?
