Their first album stands out as more ambient and moody than the later two, for which the band is better known in the US. Nice tunes to lay back and drift away while listening to.

don't be so cruel with this early early coldplay's production men... they were young, and not yet rockstars...few after this they found the coolest sound

Oh. Hmm. I'd like this song MUCH better if those guitars hadn't taken their sweet time and went to get a cup of coffee before showing up. Grr. And now they're gone again.

If this wasn't Coldplay it would be seen as brutal. As it is, it's worse. Maybe it's significant

Success? Ripping off DM??? Nah, that's not possible. |

Sounds like a one off improv during a recording session. As evidenced by the second guitars not coming in until the last minute or so.

Modern times need sincere, personal, heartfelt naivety for sure. For some reason, I can find it from Colplay lyrics. More often than usually. But i am weak, for sure |

If it were, I would understand the similarity. Otherwise, I can only attribute this band's success to their having ripped off DM and record companies taking advantage.
Dave Matthews band sure beats the crap out of this :puke:
And just for the record, I'm no D.M. fan. |

It's COOL to not like things that are popular, don't you know? Isn't that why it became known as "alternative" music? Of course, there is no such thing today.

ditto....first CD was really interesting, new and different. Now, I'm just bored, and irritated by his whiny vocals... |
