Amazing! Have to say I prefer the original, by the inimitable Norman Nardini (didn't see anyone mention him), but I never thought I'd hear that song again after moving away from Pittsburgh. We used to see Norman play small places like Cafe Supreme. I bet he still is, as he claimed, "the hardest working man in showbusiness"!!

Quintessential Reggae.
A staple tune of one of the local (non-Clear Channel) radio stations. But I think they don't play it any more. They used to play it at 4 pm every Friday to kick off the weekend. I wouldn't know, I'm always listing to RP these days. |
