It is. It's Macarena by a bunch of people who think they're really clever. :-s

This song is a loop of loops all looped together. Oh, wait . . . it does have an ending!!!

Truly a classic track for its time. And I think the fact that Delerium tracks are busy is what makes them so great. You can really see this fact on their newer CDs. Listen to their tracks in a pair of headphones and listen to all the little things that are happening that add rhythm or melody. Also listen to how well mixed their later work is. There would be a tendency for the busyness to run into each other but the mix keeps each melody of rhythm part separate but together at the same time.

Playing this after Gotan Project was really like overkill. I didn't even hear a seguae(sp?)! More for late nite tripout background music.

What a dreadful shock! I thought my morning was going along okay, but then this song came on and started annoying me, and THEN, to top it all off, I read that I'M NOT WORTH MY SALT! Aaaaaah! Life spiraling out of control... help... me...

For some, that would be a good thing.

Ommmmm.... putting me in a very transcendental state. I have most of Delerium's many CDs but their earlier work is darker and purer (less pop more trance) :goodvibes:

"perpetual daaawwnn"

I like Delirium, but the influnce on this track is so strong they might as well call it a remix.

Sounds liek somebody gave these guys too many effects in the studio, and they just HAD to use all of them...

"Hey guys! A sampler. Cool. Let's use that. And LISTEN! Phase shift , compression, chorus, AND delay. All at the same time!"

"Whoa! That sounds cool..."

Aptly named band.

I don't care for sampling in general but I don't generally think it's sacrilegious, just unethical. But sampling Tibetan monks, likely without their permission, likely without having any idea what it is they're actually chanting (those are religious chants, not just sounds), does seem sacrilegious, perverse and kinda ignorant. I doubt "consensual" would describe their use of the monks' voices.

Okay, I'm ranting now.
