Little Fluffy Clouds with The Orb would be nice after this.

...or not. To much spaced out electronica can be dangerous!

As for this group, I assume they're a takeoff on the Blue Man Group? What's next? Red Man Walking? Purple People Eater? And what would we get if we mixed the greens and the blues? Teal your face? Man, now I gotta go out and get some M&Ms.

Hallo, blue men here?
Yes goodday, green men here. Is yellow man there?
No, gone fishing with red men.

I like it.. kind of mellow, reminds me of being on a long drive a few years ago, I went numb after a really bad fight with family ... and this reminds me of that and the drive... its not a painful remembrance, but the feeling of being numb is pretty cool.

A friend called it "being in the *zone*" .. so deep into something that you forget everything else except what you're into.. really wild!!

Under circumstances like that, one can indeed relate to a song like this. Usually, just listening to RP, circumstances like that are lacking though.
Funny, btw, Comfortably Numb is following this one, which connects perfectly to your comment. Bill must have been aware of the fact this song is the right one for becoming numb, or IOW for "being in the zone".

This does nothing for me, and no I don't hate electronica music.

Lots of diversity and playfulness in a single track. It's not often I hear electronica with so many changes that manages to keep a groove as well...

...and to those here who think tracks like this are simplistic and factory-made...I'd like to hear you put one together sometime ;)

This monotony is what gives electronic music a bad name.

This song took what, 9 minutes, and went absolutely nowhere. A short attention span would be a blessing for this music, not a curse.

I agree with Shimmer, One A.D. (and others in that series) are awesome. May just have to buy them for the upload.

This is a shame because there's plenty of good "electronica" out there. Try "Soma Holiday" from the "One A.D." compilation, for example.

"Wow, I didn't know you could make music using computers! And hey, synthesizers can make lots of different sounds! I know, let's use the computer to record a bunch of kooky sounds, we'll loop them over and over again and we'll paste a few layers on top of one another! We need some really simple, uncompelling music, a few records, a keyboard and a computer and we'll be all set! Hey, this is easy - anyone can make music!"

C'mon, man, how 'bout something at least a little interesting?

eh...it's generally what i dislike about electronica. too repetitive. Not bad for work, but wouldn't like it at home.
