I'm not a huge Golden Earring fan either; I have Moontan and Cut, but I'm not getting your point. What are you saying, that just because Baker plays for Masters on two albums that this somehow negates Golden Earring's 40+ year career? |

Better yet is off their first album (self titled) "Kill the King".probably their best effort. (listened to that and Brownsville Stations' 'Martian Boogie' till our ears bled)

Just plain ol' Ginger Baker. Solid, rock steady and ready.Nary a drum head feels lonely in his kit.

I've always liked this album. I'm surprised you dug it out as I was actually just thinking about it a few weeks ago. For me the lyrics mean that a woman is more alluring when dressed because the "details" are left to the imagination. Or, as women hardly seem to wear dresses these days, bring them back! In other works this going right along with "lady in red." But there's ants in the kitchen baby, I thought I'd let you know!

I second this comment in its entirety except to add that I am stunned to hear this here. Kudos to whomever provided it. Ginger Baker rarely sounded this "enthused." |
