A very cool album! While this track is good - there are much better on the album.  Something about this first album that is unusual, interesting, compelling, and yet familiar...?!

By sounding crappy it prevents the other music from getting stale, but you really would rather not consume it on its own?

Also: I don't think this sounds much like Sigur Ros at all...
