Wow, I'm getting a split personality just reading the comments (and leaving the social/religious connotations alone altogether)!

Personally, I liked the song...not sure why.

Down the song by all means, but please do not insult the Christian community by calling this Christian. They may call themselves a Christian band, but the truth is not every song that sprays "God" here and there qualifies as Christian. They’ve admitted themselves that the lyrics to most of the songs in this album were written during their high school days, and it shows.

I was very surprised to see this song played on Radio Paradise, but the DJ probably though it had nothing to do with God, which it doesn’t. The music is good – which is why I have the album. The lyrics on the other hand, horrid!

In any case, this is what angers me about this band and others like it (Jars of Clay anyone?). The lyrics are cryptic and have nothing to do with praising God, but instead trying to come off looking good. Instead they come off as insulting.

Don't sugar coat it, tell us what you really think!

Hmmm. Let's try this: "This is NOT worthy of RP! And it's a protest song to boot! "Socialist music" Uggghhh! Just say no to thought control!" Naw, sounds sorta wrong somehow.

Reminds me of the spoof they do of Antonio Banderas on Saturday Night Live.

Most of their songs have an eastern-european feel (the band is greek-american) and boy, no acoustic band can rock like these guys do in concert. (saw them open for jars of clay once) The lyrics for the most part don't have Christian overtones, and in fact generally veer to the puzzling and nonsensical.

normally I wouldn't bother - especially on a weekend, but this song is one of the large turds I have been avoiding. Please don't play it. Please.

Hrmmm.... I really like Flamanco and this song has a really good feel and energy to it. I am disappointed to hear that they don't carry this style through out the rest of their work. I was excited because I thought I might have found another good flamanco group.
