I believe that it's, "Lovegrove" not "Lovegroove".

In some cases, he sounds like Frank Sinatra.

This song really comes to life during the ending minutes and then dies beautifully

I recognised this from the first note with its distinctive pitch and timbre. This has been one of my fave DCD albums for a couple of decades. What I loved about them, and indeed about RP, was their stylistic eclecticism and the wide variety of instruments, and of course Lisa Gerrard's wideranging voice. Brendan Perry also has a fine voice, but it's no accident that Gerrard has had a good solo career after DCD whereas Perry's works have languished. It's good that they're back together again, though.

I never did figure out who Mr Lovegrove was, and why he was so ubiquitous...

Are we surprised she dumped his faux-Jim Morrison ass?  Not for a second.

Dead Can Dance are doing a tour this summer, which is very rare for them. I will finally get a chance to see them live.
