Coldplay's popular right? Like, mainstream? Yuck.

Horrid vocals, as usual. Leave the falsetto alone.

Going through a volatile time - this came at the perfect moment. I think I can sleep now. And the Jennys... Thanks, Bill - I think I'll see tomorrow now.

Exhibit A for the Coldplay bashers. I'm OK with Coldplay, but I can surely see where Martin's late falsetto on this cut does not work for everybody...

Always welcome your Coldplay selections—especially since it has become so fashionable to disregard anything they do. Thanks for keeping so much good stuff in front of us, Bill, even when we are not supposed to want to hear it.

In a recent Newsweek article, Coldplay front man Chris Martin explained his inferiority complex to label mates Radiohead. "We're like an eager dog just yapping around their heels, and they're trying to kick us away," he joked. "It's like unrequited love. I'm in love with a lot of things. Some of those things love me back. And some of them don't — and one of them is Radiohead." |

They probably won't ever top this album, but that shouldn't detract from it. Dear sweet garlicky Iaweh, if this is their high point, then how does it get worse? |
