Radioparadise plays such a lot of brilliant songs. But they shouldn't play such a crap. 10 times the big Sucko B. from Germany. |

I had a really crappy MOD arrangement of this on one of my old computers. Ah, the days before MP3... |

This is the only Depeche Mode song that I can tolerate. Probably just because of the suggestiveness of the lyrics, certainly not the beat - it's rather annoying. (As is the treble-tinny sound)

A GREAT cover of this one was done for the "For The Masses" CD, all DM covers... this one has been done in a kind of lounge singer-esque way and it is an absolute riot to hear all the words sung in that manner... maybe I should try uploading it....

I am rather amazed at all the negativity. I literally couldn't imagine a negative comment. Oh well, I'm glad we all have different tastes.
The lyrics are rather fun and provocative. Where some see tinny treble in the voice, I see a strange innocence that belies the lyrics. Definitely one of the earliest industrial tracks, and at least before Nine Inch Nails broke the field open, perhaps the one with most pop appeal. (only rival: Ministry's Everyday is Like Halloween).

Holy crap! This takes me back to high school, when I had everything DM had done up that point over and over in my car. I haven't listened to them in a decade! (It was a good decade.)

Yuck! What noise.. This definitely doesn't fit into the eclectic scheme - I never really liked most of Depeche Mode's stuff anyway

This one brings back memories of a lot of sweat (dancing in underground clubs, not tied up to a bed).
