I didn't know this was Devlins, but as I was listening to it, I caught myself stopping what I was doing and murmuring, "Damn, I LIKE this!" So - damn, I LIKE this! And that it's Devlins only makes it better! |

Guess you didn't grow up in the Outback but instead in the city. As an old cowboy, this is interesting and is VERY reminiscent of Bob Dylan's album Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. (Plus a small tinge of "Willy" thrown in for some extra flavor. "Where's my horse?" |

Sometimes the sniping gets annoying to me, too, but at this point, after "one bourbon, one scotch, one beer" (hey, is there any George Thorogood on the playlist??) I say WTF!! |

I really enjoy it, but I have to agree he has a very Dylanesque singing style. 8 from me.

You're offering your autographed copy?
I stand by my comparison to E and the Eels, moreso than Jacob and co. Most excellent. |

I had a chance to talk with these guys after their show last Friday...they're really nice. I do like their music - nothing really jumps out at you, but it feels really good on the ears.
