This song always makes me think of listening to the Wolfman on XERB, the Mighty 1090, cruising through somewhere / anywhere late at night in SoCal during the 60's.
My god, it's been 30 years since this song was in heavy rotation on the original MTV with Mark Goodman, Nina Blackwood, J.J. Jackson, Martha Quinn, and Alan Hunter—when all they showed were music videos.

I remember that like it was yesterday. Hard to believe its been 30 years. Fortunately, the song wears well. Of course if it was played a couple times a day I'd be putting a pick through my ears.

I recently took a 10-day road trip in a car with Sirius XM radio. Heard this about six times. Not that that's bad, but compared to RP satellite radio pales.
For me, this is one of those classic songs that made watching MTV so much fun back in 1983. Of course it wasn't complete unless you had the cable splitter that allowed the awesome experience of hearing the music IN STEREO!
...i'm vegetarian, but it would so almost be worth going to tijuana to eat barbequed iguana - then maybe selma hayek would do a little dance and i'd be attacked by vampires...
Can we skip everything except the Salma Hayek part?
