Nice, though I like other Peter better. His voice does it for me - that keening sound of humanity, a human soul.

Despite some of the snarky negativism of some of the reviews, this still ranks a 7.8. Not bad, Peter.

Saw him live in LA in 88 - transcendental show.

I dig the Phil Spector wall of sound vibe...it's the way we're all tied in.

Wow. About as awful as it gets. Horribly depressing lyrics, and screechy grating sounds.

Great tune, please don't overplay this one and ruin it.

8 to a solid 10! Love this incredible tune. The simplicity of these lyrics grow so deep on so many levels. I notice how the 'grieving' begins in the song as slow and painful. As the tune progresses...it strengthens...much like time heals. Then the drums and percussion come in and the tempo picks up with harmony. As life is moving on and carrying on...and on. Yet we still grieve....just beautiful.

I so appreciate it when PG goes out and puts words and music to those excruciating things we all go through.  Hell no, those things aren't nice or pleasant, but we need the catharsis sometimes, and the voice PG gives really, really works for me.

I love when this song picks up energy near the end. It's somewhat heartbreaking in a very surreal way.

Such an AMAZING song!  A bit forlorn about whether he still has anything like this left in him......?!

Interesting; I find this to be the strongest track on the album.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion, but that also means that everyone is entitled to defend their views. Of course we shouldn't resort to mudslinging - that should be left to the experts, media commentators and politicians - as Dmax says, always try to defend the music rather than attack the commenter(I try to take the high road but my hands are not completely clean in this regard).  However, I can understand where someone might lash out in anger, especially where a suspected troll is involved. We shouldn't feed the trolls, but sometimes a well placed jab sure feels good.

Cheers,

Mr. Bond.  Right you are.  We should respect the views of others.  Except of coure when they differ from our own.  Did you know that in Nazi Germany, Hitler enjoyed his highest support among university students.  Even Martin Heigeggar, the greatest Philosopher of the 20th century, adored the Fuhrer.   My favorite philosopher was Sarte, who loved Joseph Stalin.  Just food for thought.
