I agree that this is the best from the Brothers Gibb, but how much is that really saying? Not RP material, I think.

In a very small group of Bee Gee's tunes that are listenable.

Lonely days....
Lonely nights...

Where would I be without my RP?

Well since we're talkin' 'bout the BeeGees, I'm kinda partial to Nights on Broadway...

Whether you like them or not, the brothers Gibb represented what's popular music, like few others did.

good song...funny how you can discover that a disco band had some great stuff before disco.

The only Bee Gees song still worth listening to after all these years. Thanks for adding it to the playlist.

Hearing this again is like revisiting my old junior high school - not nearly so bad as I remember it! Still seems to go on a little long...

Do I hear some Sargent-Pepper-envy?

GREATLY APPRECIATED BILL!!!

Really good song from the day, and from a band that gets too little respect.

Of the VH1 specials someone mentioned.. I too didn't know just how much of an influence they had until one of them.. and to see that even after *disco was dead* they still helped behind the scenes and collaborated on some pop hits that they would have been scorned for by the new rock-N-rollers of the day ...

Very Cool! .... and Yes, I did buy the Sgt Peppers' movie because it was a nicely contemporary take on the Beetles work ... cool!

Regardless of what one may think of the rest of the Bee Gees' output, this is a really great song.

I just had the scariest daydream that someone had pirated the RP stream and played the Bee Gee's!

Nice to hear them on RP. Nice choice, BTW, Bill.

R.I.P. Maurice Gibb

Eerily I've been listening to the Bee Gees almost constantly (outside of RP of course) for the last 2 weeks since I caught their special on NY Eve.
