Yeah, I totally agree. I love reggae when it's done by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Burning Spear, etc., but I think Little Feat are at their best when they stick to their element. I love "Under the Radar" - not this version, though.

I never did like the UB40 version of "Red, Red Wine," either - that stupid rap interlude in the middle always makes me think of Jeff Spicoli.

Saw Little Feat at the Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH last night. Great show - they've still got it. It was an 'acoustic' show, which basically meant acoustic guitars instead of electric - they still got a wicked good groove going. Fred Tackett is an amazing musician - he must have played 5 or 6 different stringed instruments, as well as the trumpet.

I agree. I thought about the Radiators too. Something like the classic "What lovers do" or "Red Wine" maybe.

You might feel differently if you spelled reggae correctly.

If not, well, get help before it's too late.

Regge, you are my nemesis. One day I shall find you and do unnatural things to you with a garden hose and a paring knife!

Reggae is the best summertime music! A little wine, a little sunshine, and a whole lotta undefined

I'm surprised at the rating for this song. I would think it rates a little higher.

RP is a very tasteful and stylish place to be.

Well done for your intelligent programming, keep it up. I don't always like the songs, but I know they're the best of their genre, and that opens my eyes to music I would not otherwise expose myself to.

This is a good thing.

Not sure what you mean by that.

According to littlefeat.net, Shaun has appeared on "Representing the Mambo" and "Shake me Up" and became a full member of the band for the "Ain't had Enough Fun" album.

Wow!

Never thought I'd hear this on here.

Thank you to whomever uploaded this! I do like the original better, however. This version just never caught me.

This is a much inferior version to the one on the CD of the same name. That version is lyrical and haunting; this is almost a novelty record.
