i just went to our local theater's wednesday classic movie series last week, and saw Pillow Talk. this song always reminds me of the movies from that era...and i imagine doris day or shirley maclain sambaing (or whatever the dance is) to things like this.

This isn't the Yardbird's most enlightning.  Perhaps Bill is trying to put something out there that is accessible (don't you love that word?) to most listeners while exhibiting the improvisation that is essential to jazz.
