Corgan left a really vibe with me after seeing the Pumpkins live. Very disappointed, guy had a major maturity problem. But I have to admit, I like much of his studio work |

Sunshine and some tea...now there's a sensible request! How rare it is to hear a contemporary song in which someone is longing for something he can, in all likelihood, obtain with ease. I'm all for it. :D

Somehow I never developed any strong feelings one way or the other regarding Smashing Pumpkins.
First time I heard this I had to check to see if it was

i used to be a huge pumpkins fan, but developed acidic distaste after corgans comments that his last pumpkin album was a market failure
he said he was upset with his fans because they were not following him as he was pushing rock music in a new direction
kind of like my friend michael stipe of rem who once said something about having the best voice in music
slow down and cool out guys, just make cool music and people will listen and buy it

Well, for moderate fans of Smashing Pumpkins, it is very much worth buying. But I think it has a wider appeal than even the best Pumpkins work, because unlike those albums this one has consistently terrific songs, is fun to listen to, and is performed by a band and not just Billy Corgan.
