Sheryl Crow's Redemption Day does this subject better justice.
This is just a little too spooky. The way that guy speaks of "human behavior" smacks of the ultimate in self hatred that he had his followers commit. It does not need to be reproduced unless it is an obvious warning to others.
This track could be confusing to listeners, particularly the young or disturbed.

These days I am playing solo Steven Wilson CDs one after the other. Just started to dial into some of the songs on Raven that refused to sing. |

Yep. I lived nearby too. Just a few miles up the road. Bizarro doesn't even begin to describe it. But what an awesome band. |

Thanks for introducing me to PT. Ive spent a months salary buying all the albums and I must say, Its nice to hear a band carrying on in the style of those 70s pioneers such as Yes, Rush, Floyd, LedZep etc etc. I know its a time gone by but i think they have just a little of that spirit and mixed it witth some spirit from today. its certainly not Cowellesq now, is it?

OK, I don't mind 'collage art'. This works stupendously well for me. The prose is compelling. There is always a whimsical distance. The instrumental bits are lovely. And no, I don't own shares in Porcupine Tree but I wish I did. |

I was thinking the same thing about the recent spate of Republic party presidential candidates. Trust me, I would like to see better Republican candidates. |

Eh, Bill plays what he wants. Get used to it! I think he should play a little less Porcupine Tree and supplement that with Opeth and Katatonia, two other bands that Steven Wilson has a hand in the production side of things. But again, that's my silly little opinion. |

I saw Porcupine Tree do this live at NEARfest several years ago. Bizarre, fantastic (as in "of fantasy") and likable. The whole Heaven's Gate riff... Weird. NEARfest introduced me to several other fantastic groups. |
