I've heard that at least some of these guys evolved into Calexico. They do a version of this song with lyrics, that's pretty good as well.

Actually, I uploaded this song as a sort of joke. I mean, I definitely like the song, including the entire album, but I really didn't think it would be adopted for play here...

Especially since RP has rejected most of my other uploads, including songs by Gordan Lightfoot, and America. Go figure!

Anyway, I saw this song briefly featured on MTV in 1996 (again, go figure), and then bought the album. It really is a good instrumental album in my judgement though. :)
