had the pleasure of playing a few festivals opening for Leftover Salmon....what a great bunch of musicians. Still see Vince Herman now and then and just caught Drew Emmitt and his band, but sadly, the world may never see anotherMark Vann again.
Time for yet another Leftover Salmon reunion I say!!

Alright, I had never heard of the movie, Pootie Tang, but these posts clearly point to the references. Pootie Tang did not quote Cracker w/ "Sine Your Pitty on the Runny Kine". Cracker would use this phrase when they went improv in their live shows and I'm almost positive that Cracker was quoting the film...not vice versa. This is the first studio work that I have heard them apply "Sine Your Pitty on the Runny Kine".

I didn't know Leftover Salmon was Bluegrass...
Sounds like jam-band stuff to me, which is why I buy their CDs. I guess it must be the banjo- hard to get past that Deliverance stuff with one of them in your band.
