I remember being captivated by this unusual, but well crafted little song, with its slightly baffling lyrics, back in 2006, around the time they were performing here in Brighton. By the way, they don't sound like anyone but Turin Brakes, it's a stubbonly individual sound.

So judging by the dates on the song comments, this one gets played about 1 time a year on average? That can't be right. I'd love to have access to the stats on songs.

You can. Just gotta dig a little.

Hard to believe this is the same group who almost five years later went on to sing about ducks on fire or whatever the hell that annoying other song of theirs sings about...

That would be - Set the Dog on Fire. At least that's how my ten year old daughter sings it.

It's amusing to see all the "sounds like " comments. Just shows how everyone brings their own listening history and references to each new song. I hear a lot of Blind Melon, and now I miss Shannon Hoon.

I still dig this one. It's one of those songs I really associate with RP since I heard it when I first started listening. And you certainly aren't gonna hear it on the radio.

Now I really like this; this is another hit or miss band with me, but this one is definitely a hit. Love that acoustic guitar riff!{#Bananajam}

You certainly do, and it's that which takes this from 4 to 2. Cowbells belong on cows.
