Just a 5.5? I gave her a 9... she deserves it.

Cat Power is just one gal.

I love her.

I can't decide which Cat Power is best... the hairball-hurling , or the stink-up-the-place ability. Better nap on it.

They stole the first 4 chords from Kansas's "Dust In the Wind."

This is what you get when you wake Neil Young up in the middle of the night.

Hey, I tried..... I uploaded "Speak For Me," which I thought was pretty accessible. Probably Not / Sorry.

I always liked her record of covers, "The Covers Record" I think it's called. She does a version of "Satisfaction" by the stones that I think is brilliant - no chorus either (which is the part I always hated anyway.)

I absolutely love this album. While this song is admittedly mellow, in the context of the whole album, it's great. Not sure if any of her other albums are comparably good -- any suggestions?">

Me too

Maybe my perspective is skewed. Actually I find this type of music OK in small doses, but RP has been playing a lot of it tonight.

This is a version of John Lee Hooker's "Crawlin' Black Spider." I very much like it.

More Cat Power on Radio Paradise!!!

I agree with you - it's just that this seems particularly dreary and twice as long as it actually is.
