Bruce's attempt to imitate David Bowie fails here. The Boss should have stuck to his usual three chord schlock. I've always wondered why self proclaimed rockers admit they enjoy jamming to the combination of crappy guitar and xylophone.
I like about three songs from Bruce and this isn't one of them.

Name one Classic Rock station that plays this song...they're aren't any. Unless you count one random spin for a Bruce Springsteen play day. If you had any knowledge of the guy's catalog you'd know that this is an ecletic choice. It's just an ignorant comment all around really. |
