I'm surprised at how so many judged this song.  Perhaps they hadn't listened to the entire book and only judged the chapter about 'Sun Green' on it's own.  I love Sun Green and think the American world needs more of her kind.... The Greendale book is a reflection on the state of affairs in America.... The music in Sun Green reflects perfectly her feelings of frustration of observing corporate america slamming the country and human interests against a wall while also being persecuted for practicing what we call democracy.  Speak out and 'be the rain'!  I immensely enjoyed Neil Young's book and look forward to more adventures with Sun and Earth.

The end of this god-awful song will feel good as it feels good when who ever has been hitting your head with a hammer finally stops !!!

I can't stand Neil, and this is no exception. This is the worst of all of them.

How about something else from Greendale? I've heard some clips and they sound much better than this cut.

Like most of the posters here, I can't deal with this tune. It has about 1 minute of value, but just goes on and on.
I too like Neil, but please Bill, look at all the comments here and scratch this song from the playlist in the future, it ruins the set.

This is obviously from Neil Young's evil twin. I guess Neil thinks because he can write really good music when he wants to he can get away with this crap.

Neil, man, I appreciate what you are getting at here, I really do, but, sigh, really, trust me, the bullhorn thing doesn't work.

Shades of Trans also - I won't be buying this one.

I just thank god that there are still a few geezers still making great music that I can still listen to. Neil is Neil and you either get him or you don't. I find his eccentricities quite entertaining.

Hey, seeing Emmylou Harris tonight!

Hello all;

My 17 year old bought this album yesterday, and we had a great evening sitting around listening to and discussing this concept album. I'm too old to sit through the DVD, but apprecaite that there's still someone who wants to say something via his music.

Afraid the only radio station we'll hear this on is RP.

Matthew.
