What's a Cedar-cat?

If I didn't spend so much time away I'd let another cat move in here :-(

{#Roflol} A Cedar-cat is twice the size of a normal cat and possesses the ability to intimidate a pit-bull into a cringe, simply by staring at it.  It also tattles on everyone else and takes their seating arrangements as soon as they get up.

I'm listening to this song with my big fat Cedar-cat snuggled in my arms. He's purring, and if I could purr, I'd be purring, too. Love this song.  I love AfroCelts, and loved them when they were the Afro-Celt Sound System.  Such wonderful, soothing, inspiring music...

Gotta wake my cat up so I can put my jammies on and tuck in for the night.  Thanks, RP - I'll probably be listening to you all night long.

I'd never heard these until I hooked up with RP - that's why I love it so much ;-)

I love the intro. It sounds so harsh and melancholic at the same time.

Anything from ACSS (My favorite musical act) gets an automatic 8. This is a good album opener I suppose, but there are better tracks on the disc. "Ayub's Song", "Deep Channel" and "Rise Above It" being my favorites on the disc.

I'm a fan of this bunch, mainly for their sheer energy and vibrancy, but this sounds like chill-out trance rather than the drum-bashing foot-stomping stuff that's their usual fare. I'm afraid this one's not growing on me. I prefer it when their music lives up to the band name, whereas this is generic chill-out stuff. Pleasant enough, but in one ear and out the other...

Was in San Francisco years ago with the in-laws. My mother-in-law, bless her sheltered little heart, pointed at an adult movie marquee and said "Isn't that mispelled?" : Screwples.
We nearly choked but didn't have the heart to try and explain it to her.

Only on earth (and then, only in some places). This is the Al Gore spelling.

I get scared when there's no music. Like it okay once in a while.

Bingo (relating to the uphill bike climb). But also for long road trips in the countryside.

Stays fresh with me tho if I limit my exposure to once every other month or so.

Good background/elevator music. It reminds me of the instrumentals on Pink Floyd's first non-Roger Waters LP "A Momentary Lapse of Reason"---good but not great.

I wanted to like these guys, I think their concept is quite original. This tune is just too creepy, others sound too angry. Maybe if I heard a more upbeat selection from them I would like it, but as far as what I have heard from them so far... pass
