The computer I have was purchased in 2003. The place where I put the computer, the power to run it, and the internet connection are all belonging to my brother, who is on disability.  If I had even five dollars to donate, I would, because RP is worth it.

Not that any of this is your business, but I thought I should set the record straight, since your logic seems to be a bit skewed.

Couldn't get this song to work for me tonight, but then, I'm in an "MmmBop" mood, so there's really no hope... {#Lol}

Especially during this tune!   4.5 if there was one.

Me, too.  But substitute "despite" for "for."

judging from the comments this song plays once ever 2-3 months...

sounds OK if I am only going to hear it once every few months.

You're just teasing, right? I think this is a Malian artist! Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a Qawwali (singer?) from Pakistan.

Just too redundant for me. Where's the fire, or the emotion in this? Too blah for me.

Me, too. I was talking to a co-worker some minutes ago and he was all "Chemical Brothers? I love that!" and then he walked by again to Gabriel, and just now he walked by and asked where this music was coming from. Second time this week I have been able to turn people on to RP! Excellent, excellent

Thanks RP for playing this kind of world music too. Your mixes are great! This song is especially welcome after that Peter Gabriel song, ugh. So, so bland and overplayed. Ah well.

I was just going to write that this song has
- a very similar triangle rythm as the PG song
- vocals that are somewhat similar to Youssou N'Dour's backing vocals on the PG song (Senegal & Mali, close enough for me)
I suppose that's why Bill put this after PG.

I just checked to see if someone has already pointed this out, when I saw that you seem to have missed it completely.
So there.
You can still disagree though.
