Is that seriously your criteria for rocking? You should consider revising your music evaluation paradigm.

This would mashup well with Suzanne Vega's Blood Makes Noise.

Fifteen years old this year, and sounding as unique and novel as back then.

Oh I hadn't heard this before tonight.... excellent, mystical edges to the spoken voice, the great beat, great production, I know I need to hear this several times more to really really rate it however.  RP is the best!

I think I said something similar in another song thread from this album. Truly a masterpiece regarding music for the boudoir.

I keep hearing Gavin DeGraw's   'I don't want to be' .. and I'd rather hear that song

That's a very good rule of thumb. When contributing to fora, remember that the people you're addressing are real humans, not 1-dimensional cardboard cutouts, and if don't have the chops to say it to their face then don't say it online. The Net would be a far better place if folk followed that maxim. It's also worth remembering that true anonymity is hard to achieve online, so if you flame someone and the flamee really gets the hump s/he could track you down in real life.

Another useful rule is to post under your real name, as I do. When a moment's web search could find my place of work, there's a real incentive to keep things civil.

Somehow I had missed this particular song before RP, even though I like very many songs from Massive Attack.  This has become one of my absolute favorites.  Not only a 10, but a hell yeah! 10.

Why is it that every Massive Attack song I hear is different from the others?  Geez - must be talent. Or else a magic cameleon-cape that makes them something else every time they release a CD.  I rated this a 7, but I'm bumping it to 8 because it made me do that computer-dance and it subsequently put my spine back into place. {#Dancingbanana}

Used to adore this song, not so much now, I prefer the latter half of the album, most notably the title track and Black Milk

{#No} I see the children have forgotten how to play nice again. If you don't have anything constructive or remotely mature to comment, why don't you do yourselves, and everyone else, a really big favor and shut your pie-hole? {#Arghhh}

this drive-by insult culture on the internet is getting really tiresome. You are (mostly) grown-ups here, not 12-year olds! Here's a thought: if you wouldn't look someone in the eye and say it within arm's reach, maybe you shouldn't type it online? {#Beat}

Keep spinning Bill! Great set here...{#Yes}

Not necessary to hear it again, my opinion...

Edit: Oh man I hate every song of this album.

Opposite for me. Just saw I gave it a "4" some month ago
today I give it an "8"

Then go away. Why do you feel such a strong need to be negative? How does that help anyone - even if it helps you, you still are, ultimately, a net loss to the community. Go be negative on your own time, in your own space. Try to help - this is not the way.

By the way, I gave this an 8. I liked it. I'm a science geek - if you can measure something then it's not an opinion. Otherwise, it is, and stop portraying it as some freaking absolute that all the rest of us should adhere to. I'm so tired of this. My positive is also meaningless, but at least it's positive.

This is truely another MOST RIDILULOUS little-silly comment!
COMPLIMENT!

Best the conclusion: "...at least it's positive!"
