I've heard like five different versions of this song in the last three days, in random places. Crazy.
I prefer the original one to all of the remixes, live versions, etc. that I've heard.

I heard a acoustic-type cover of this by Katie Melua recently, it's pretty cool too. |

I am looking forward to seeing them play this live (hopefully) next week.

I prefer the studio version, but this is still one of the great pop songs of all time. (IMHO)

That progression on the guitar is sooo excellent. And their lead singer has the perfect angry punk voice.

themotion wrote:kids, i like some cure ... but there's no reason this song should be a 7.6 ... it is boring and goes nowhere ... and sounds like 95% of all other cure songs
I missed the live version so I don't know how it sounds. But as far as this song getting an avg 7.6 rating I agree that seems a bit off...should be closer to 10. It is a classic. |
