I listen to Radio Paradise to avoid hearing dreck like this. It was painful. I actually stopped the stream until it was done.

I don't mind this, but the recording seems flat to me

Too much pomp for my taste... although it does start off rocking well.

Love the beginning of the song, hate the end. Makes me feel very anxious.

I had this playing on my iPod the other night. The dog heard the word "walk" -- dogs have real sensitive hearing, you know -- and there she was, nudging me, going over to where her leash is stowed and coming back again.

It's become the dog's official theme song of her favorite activity.

Couldn't agree more! Visions of Kelly Clarkson on AI.

But what.... Nice.... Floyd....... I'm better now. Nevermind I'm chillin once again.

I like the song, and think the album is pretty damn close to perfect. I frankly can't say there's anything that I'd skip over and not unlike the last 4 or 5 Water's Floyd albums, it's pretty much a full blown concept album.

There's nothing about it that's like American Idol. Frankly, when I hear it, I frequently think of Pink Floyd. Not because it sounds like Pink Floyd, but because virtually every song segues into the next and like every Floyd album from DSOTM through the Final Cut, it's a full blown concept album.

Oh - she did some work with Conjure One (also on RP playlist) a few years ago somehow. Check it out.

If not for RP, I never would have gotten this album...Love it.

Not totally familiar with Poe so I'm assuming she's related to pop industry stuff. It's okay I guess

Last time I heard her in a "Pop" fashion, was when "Hello" came out in 1994 or 1995. Definately not pop industry stuff here.

I don't understand what exactly happened, but Atlantic dropped her and for whatever reason, she can't tour or sign with another label.

Too bad, because I think this album pretty much perfect.

And I never would have heard if if not for RP

Apparently there were a few issues with the label, they got into it and some clause in her contract kept her from recording/touring for a 7 year period, which should be expired now. She was tracking a new album back in 2006, but I haven't seen any updates in quite some time. Check her Myspace page (don't have the link handy, blocked at work).

I love Poe, even this song. This entire album is amazing. Waiting for more...
