Another stunning Sundays song. And yes, it's in 6/8. The accents on the beats can lean to thinking in fours... ONE, two, three, FOUR, five, six.

Looks as though Harriet Wheeler and guitarist David Gavurin settled down to raise kids after 97's Static and Silence release. I can't believe they haven't written anything new in all these years. They were the soundtrack to a couple of my broken hearts in college. So, Harriet and David, wherever you are, thanks for helping me through some late-adolescent angst. |

With this song, I suddenly heard the connection between The Sundays and the shoegaze, ethereal movement, like Cocteau Twins, which is maybe my favorite group... I knew very little about The Sundays, I guess I have to check them out...  |
