see, that's why it's such a bummer I didn't even manage to see this band at least ONCE while I lived in colorado. the opportunities were of sheer abundance! i read their band's name everywhere there, it felt like they were playing on a weekly basis...but I thought they're just an uninteresting & talentfree local combo...and drove down to denver to see nation-wide, overpaid acts...oh, silly me. "PUKE" is what I was my freshman year college, pledge, first semester, getting screamed at at the top of their lungs by 40 other grown men, me standing on ice cubes at 3 am on a Thursday morning, in my boxers. True story. I am sure it comes from the military traditions. |
