No, it's quite resistable ... mannered, tiresome, irritating.  I think I'd rather she stuck to Icelandic ...

Yes relentlessly overproduced. Yes full-on Bjork weirdness. But it's still fairly irresistable.

One of my best friends, a man with otherwise excellent taste in music, art, literature, etc, loves Bjork and puts her on every time I go to have dinner with him and his partner. It's a running gag now: "No, dude, anything but that . . . "

Her voice, for whatever reason, is irritating to me. But, hey, at least it's not rap.

And she's a snappy dresser!

I love Bjork. Too bad she's married to Space Ghost (http://bit.ly/SW0VzA —> Youtube link — Space Ghost, Bjork and Thom Yorke)

Been here long?  (*Goes to see.*)  Well.  Hmmm.  Yeah, you've been around a while—one would think long enough that you'd have figured out that the "mute" trope is hardly meant as information about the actual state of my sound card.  Right?

Mute is a "trope" now, is it...not a "meme"....gotta work harder at figuring out what you all are going on about. Seriously, if you don't like it, mute it and move on to the next tune. I don't really need to share your "trope" any more than I care about the state of your sound card.
