This is SO good - yet another example of why RP is so excellent and worth supporting with your hard earned cash! |

Bowie is not among my favorite vocalists, but I've seldom or never heard him sing any better. That said, this is such an elemental, essential, eternal piece of music it would be difficult to step all over it. A club and frat party piece par excellence. Dito to all the above... |

I am so psyched that he finally has a new album coming out. I thought he was done.
Now I can hope to see him live again........for the 25th time :-)

Music is supposed to change from one performance to the next—no points given for plonking out the same version over and over. Classical and jazz music would have ground to a complete halt without improvisation and alteration. Couldn't agree more ; sometimes the song can evolve as the musician finds new elements of change. For a musician to play the same song without this freedom must be extremely boring and in the end they would be just going through the motions. |

The art work and track list are from "Stage" a live album that came out after the 78 tour.
Don't know this Paris concert and where it is available. |

Don't think so. It screws up my ratings. I don't like rating the same song twice. You crack me up, rdo. I'm typically not a big fan of live versions of songs, but Bill plays some gems. One thing I prefer about this live performance over the studio version is the guitar work. |

Plus you've always got the original if that's what you prefer to listen to.
Some live versions are an improvement, sometimes not so much.

Music is like SEX! If it were always the same, what would be the point, anyway. |
