It is literally David Lynch meets Disney, and if you're familiar with his work you can see it's him, but without all the evil. Sweet and slow, small in scope, and well crafted, the end made my girlfriend (now wife) sob a bit. And, as is typical with Lynch, great music by Angelo Badalamenti. I rather liked it, but it's not everybody's cup of tea. |
