Amen to that, brother! I never could understand the appeal of those Smurf mimes! I mean who couldn't do that? I wonder how the Na'vi would feel about them on Pandora?

ahh Carbon Leaf.  such a fantastic band from good ole Virginia.  See them live if you ever get the chance. New album, Nothing Rhymes with Woman, is really great.

Sure it has low production values, but it adds to this song's charm. I think its great - a cross between a train and something...

Honestly, I am trying to understand what Bill and the rest of you (apparently) see in this band, but I am just not seeing it. Carbon Leaf definitely gets the rotation on RP that is suitable to a solid fan favorite, but to me they are ho hum. I guess I will have to try harder to like them....

It's so dangerously close to something you'd hear if you mistakenly tuned into a "New Country" station (you know, sentiemtnal diddies about being a recovering substance abuser and a new Dad, or the like) that I'm almost embarassed to say I like it ...but I do!

This could be ok if they all got in the tour bus and took off while the singer is in the bathroom. Completely undistinguished voice.

Come to think of it, the lyrics are pretty bland, too.

I find Carbon Leaf's music to be lacking in something, can't say exactly what it is. The lead singer's voice grits on my ears so much, it's like he's trying way too hard.
