Used to dig them, but I can't get into them these days (2004 is recent enough I guess). And I would never buy any of their music due to her alignment with the head of the Canadian record lobby. Bill might as well play some Metallica.

it's crazy to imagine someone throwing lingo like that around even using words like hate and music in the same sentence. i can see how like - if this music seriously drags you into the world of suffering - how you can't even leave the house. you're a shut in, is that it?...living a perfect existence in a pristine garden given food and water that hasn't hurt another living thing on it's path to your table, and this song shatters that whole world ...? wow. my whole brain just exploded in my skull.. that's cool |

I'm digging this. I'd pretty much written off the Junkies by the mid-90s, but this is pretty good. Don't know if I can reconcile liking the music but not liking Margo and her husband, who is the head of the Canadian RIAA, CRIA. Oh, well.

Pretty much the only Cowboy Junkies song I can take anymore. No disrespect to them or their fans, but most of thier music puts me sleep faster than mainlining Ambien. This one, on the other hand, is positiviely perky!
