If Daniel Lanois and Emmylou Harris are married, they've really kept it under wraps. But what do I know?

The album is produced by Malcolm Burn, but Daniel Lanois did co-write and co-produce one of the tracks (not this one).

Here's an excerpt from AllMusic.com about Malcolm Burn, which explains the similarity in sound: "A Canadian émigré who now calls New Orleans his home base, Malcolm Burn is admittedly influenced deeply by the atmospheric style of Daniel Lanois. The producer first met his mentor while playing in Boys Brigade, an early-'80s Canadian glam band. Though the initial meeting was nothing more than a passing moment, Burn was eventually called to New Orleans by Lanois to help write the latter's solo album, Acadie."

You're wrong. You didn't have to. You chose to. Unfortunately.

In fact this song sounds almost the same as something from Wrecking Ball.

They are married to each other.

I don't care for country music, but Emmylou has a voice and soul not bounded by conventional music genres. Sorry you can't hear that.

I am not a country fan much... but I can hear what the appeal is. Not really my cup of tea but I get it...

She is well on her way to the status as an "American Treasure". Wonderful song from a great, great artist, imo.

I have to thank RP for introducing me to Emmylou Harris. Sure, I'd heard of her as a country singer, but now that I've listened...gosh, she sure sing purdy, don't she?

Is that when your heart is RIPPED from your chest, still beating and put through the EMMYLOU heart rending press?
