I remember him opening up for his brother. Stevie was backstage playing backup lead...I thought that was kind of funny...this is your basic boring blues...sometimes you got it and sometimes you don't...he definately doesn't

I have this CD. Bought it after his other, Strange Pleasure. I was a little dissapointed with this one - although still listenable. Really liked Strange Pleasure.

This is one of the stand-out tunes on the CD.

Jimmie doesn't get the credit he deserves, mainly because his style isn't as flashy as his little brother Stevie's. Jimmie has a great feel for the Blues, and has a great touch on guitar. Remember, he doesn't use a pick either - just bare fingers.

PS - Lou Ann Barton used to play with Stevie Ray Vaughan before he formed Double Trouble with Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton. Some of the music was released on a CD under Lou Ann's name a couple years ago. She is a great Blues vocalist.

Love dat Jimmy! Got a chance to see him last month (with Lou Ann Barton on a lot of the vocals) with his awesome Tilt-A-Whirl Band. They were opening for B.B. King. Great show!

Damn! Was on the phone when this song came on. I never heard it before and love Jimmie's stuff. Can't wait to hear it again.

I agree that it's good to hear Jimmie here. He has always had a presence here in Austin and played with the Fabulous Thunderbirds in many places around the country.

Jimmie seems to have developed a very distinct style of blues guitar playing. If you like this, check out Family Style that he did with brother Stevie. Good stuff.

Nice to hear Jimmie Vaughan on RP. It's natural to try and compare Jimmie to his brother but to me that's unfair. Stevie was simply an undeniable talent.

Jimmie brings a lot to the table and should be considered on his own merits. I frequently enjoy his music.
