Brilliant song, brilliant album! Their next one though, "Without You I'm Nothing" is the best album they'll ever make!

Unlike Bettie Serveert which played before this Placebo song, the gentleness and loudness don't mix too well.

I like a lot of Placebo songs, but this isn't one of 'em. 4.

I'd take nails on a chalkboard over Placebo. I'd take throwing a hundred cats at a chalkboard over Placebo.
But, is Brian Molko actually singing on this one? Did even the sound engineer turn his mike down so far it's hard to tell? Can't blame the guy...a generous 3. |

Seems that some enjoy music for their vocals, and some for the music. I personally enjoy songs for their music, and could care less what the singers voice sounds like, or what about what they're saying. You can't, or at least I can't, understand what more than half of these singers are saying anyways. Most importantly to me, Brian Molko infuses raw emotion into his vocals, and the band does as well, which is lacking in a high percentage of the bands out there these days. Face it, you people are all just homophobes, and are hiding behind the notion that he has a nasally voice. Admit it.

An amazing song. Their self-titled album is pretty phenomenal actually, I can understand how some people may be put off by Brian Molko's nasal vocals, but their musicianship is top notch.
