Hi!

I perfectly understand what you mean.
Personaly, when I listen to Blind Melon, I think about The Posies. Not that the bands are similar, but both remind me good times of my life.
If you like fresh drumming, you may really like I Can Dream All Day

Bye!

I totally hear the Janes Addiction bits in here - though it's a little more complex and polished IMHO.  What a great groove though.  *volUP!*

This is exactly what I was thinking. I so sure other people would've made the comparison and sure enough, I find this at the top of the page!

If you haven't heard it, you should check out the song, "Change". It's one of their best, IMO.

All three of their discs are great, I think. This one was more straight-on rock, to me, whereas "Soup" is a little darker. "Nico", released after Shannon's death, is often overlooked as a b-sides album, but I think it had some of their strongest tracks.

Abandon Jalopy is a steller side project from the bass player (after the Unified Theroy stuff ) ——-album called MERCY

again very tasty stuff
worth a listen

Isn't a drug overdose killing yourself on purpose too?

I suppose if you take the short view that drug addiction is a choice.  It's like telling a diabetic its their fault they can't eat sugar.  I only wish he'd gotten help.

This is an album that needs to be listened to from track 1 to the end. A satisfying story.
